Know what your sauna or cold plunge will really cost — bought, wired, and running.

A $5,000 sauna is not a $5,000 purchase. Electrical work, permits, and years of operating costs change the math — and the sites ranking saunas today all sell them. We built the neutral layer this market is missing.

We don't sell saunas. Nobody pays us to rank them.

Why trust a comparison site?

Mostly, you shouldn't. Search results for "best sauna" are crowded with manufacturer blogs ranking their own products first, paid press-release placements, and dealer sites whose calculators end in a checkout button. SaunaClear takes a different position: we carry no inventory, hold no dealer agreements, and publish the criteria behind every recommendation. Some links on this site are affiliate links (full disclosure) — but rankings never depend on them, and every comparison includes products we earn nothing on.

Comparison database and brand reviews are being published through fall 2026. Safety note: sauna and cold-water immersion are not appropriate for everyone — people with cardiovascular conditions, and pregnant women considering heat exposure, should consult a physician first. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
